Getting Big

Zane has started growing up already! He'll be 5 months old in less than a week...and I just can't believe it. I felt like it took Claire so long to turn 5 months and with Zane, it's just flying by. It makes me so sad! He already doesn't want to sleep right next to me, he sleeps about a foot away from me now. He woke up in the middle of the night last night and I was walking around with him, trying to get him to go to sleep. He kept laying his head down on my shoulder, so I could tell he was tired, but for some reason he just couldn't doze off. So, in minor frustration, I just placed him down on the bed. He instantly relaxed and fell asleep. I thought....WHAT??? I can't believe it. While I believe the transition to a crib will be much easier with him than with Claire, it still just makes me so sad. Zane needs me less and less. :( Maybe I will just breastfeed him forever and then he will always need me! :-D Okay, just kidding.

I got him to sit up on his own for a few seconds yesterday. Just more proof....sigh...I'm not ready yet. I'm not ready to not have a little baby!
