update

I'm pretty sure that out of Claire's friends' moms...I will be the one everyone is scared of. Haha - don't ask me why. I can just tell.

Claire had her three month check up the other day and she is doing awesome! My little monster is 10 lb, 14 oz and 23 inches long. She's still on the small side but that is okay. She is very alert and is on more of a schedule now. I never realized how hard it would be to get a colicky baby on a schedule, but let me tell you...it is quite difficult! Now that she only cries about half the time, it's much easier. She wakes up between 7-8 for her first bottle in the morning and then goes back to sleep for about 3 hours afterwards. Makes it easy for Mommy & Daddy to go back to bed, haha! Then she wakes up for another bottle and is pretty alert until 4 or 5 when she takes another, albeit shorter nap.

She has begun to smile back and sort of giggles. She does all the motions of giggling (kicking her arms & legs, crinkling up her little nose, along with a big huge smile!) but none of the sounds. Sometimes when she really gets going, she sounds like a squeaky toy. She's too cute. I love my little princess.
